I guess I could give rosé one more chance, but I've had non-Kool Aid rosé and wasn't that impressed.. I'll sacrifice myself to science and give it another go this summer I think!

This white girl has a sweet tooth for (some) wines but I don't like rosé... I love white wines of all kinds though- from dry to sweet dessert wines, from really mineral-tasting to super fruity bouquets... mmm white wine. I like red when it's very heavy and looks like thick blackcurrant juice. I don't have enough time…
People who confuse white zin and rosé are one of my most irrationally massive pet peeves.
If anyone anywhere ever tried to give me white zinfandel, I would rip their throat out and eat it.
Real white girls don’t drink rosé, they drink white zinfandel.
To me, it looks like the schedule of a single dude living with his parents. I mean, how else does dinner get cooked, clothes washed, bills paid, house cleaned etc? Or else he's married and his wife does it all. In any case, it is just a scribbled broad reckoning of his time- not at all detailed or helpful- so it's…
I’m always curious about these types because I’ve inadvertently become one. Here are the steps I took between being someone you can relate to and being this hyperproductive monster.
I know people who can deal with 4 hours of sleep. Personally less than 8 I feel tired the whole day (although I end up with 6 a lot due to the late night call of the internet). I can sleep 12 pretty easily. So I guess I will never be a productivity god!
I bet he takes power naps instead of just regular boring naps.
Just reading that was exhausting. I think I’m going to take a nap. Who’s with me?
I’ll wait 7 or 8 years before his book “Doing Nothing: How I Learned the Priceless Art of Relaxation After I Had to Spend 2 Years in Bed Due to a Mysterious Chronic Illness.”
It sounds like he doesn’t have a life as much as he creates one with hours and hours of busywork. I just can’t with people who are so smug about how they could never understand boredom, about how they’re always pushing themselves harder to succeed, and tend to view other people who don’t as lesser beings. It’s…
This is what someone on their way to a massive coronary looks like.
Yes, it’s tricky when parents do bad things not because they are “bad” but because of their own issues. Since I was a kid, I have had to help my parents with financial issues, help with their problems, etc. and I don’t get help from them or any kind of emotional support. It’s all take not give with my father and my…
YOU KNOW WHAT MOVES ME
<3 As someone whose awesome mom made her home into a destination for so many kids who had less awesome moms themselves, I try very hard not to take her awesomeness for granted. I’m lucky to have her as my own mom, but I’ve always been happy to share.
I feel for you. The best thing you can do is to continue supporting your wife and to avoid this getting between the two of you. Your wife is probably making her way towards emancipation from her mother, in her own time. Is she seeing a therapist?
The title alone made me cry. I needed this though. Thank you.
Can we also take a minute and appreciate the fact that Mossberg was 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighed 118 pounds, and was 50 years old and STILL tried to intervene in what he thought was a mugging? Though he be little, he be fierce.
