No you fucking don’t. I’ve driven 2 syncro Dokas and they were both trash. Transmissions were made from wet cardboard and good luck finding someone to properly rebuild one.

The length of the Gladiator is certainly an upgrade in cargo capacity. For how massive the Unlimited is, the cargo space with the rear seats up is pretty sad. 

At that point, why not just get a 4-door unlimited?

An aftermarket Safari cab (like below) for this could make it pretty cool, especially if you can remove the tailgate for barn doors...
