The wrap-up interviews around Neal suggested that he would have been able to give up his idol because he wasn't voted out, he just chose not to because he was in shock

i've heard that too, but i'm pretty sure the spinoffs and the mainline trilogy are almost entirely separately produced. it's like MCU tv and MCU movies, technically in the same universe but no real connections

it's a quick breezy beach read. it's not as great as people say it is, but it's also not as bad as people say it is.

my only complaint is that the star destroyer and AT-AT look clearly CGI instead of like miniatures, but i guess that's to be expected. and the effects will get better by release

actually the movie in the end completely cheapens and weakens her character - she's set up as the protagonist but then you realize all along it was del toro and the director is just as fucking sexist as everyone else

Dude created the show, he's going to be in the finale

Man of steel had stellar trailers and a great marketing campaign - plus nolans name on it. I cannot believe their conclusion was to give everything to Nolan after that

I REALLY wish they would let Mac be gay for the rest of the series. It would open so many new storylines! Like Fat Mac, but 10 times better and permanent

Saw her live two weeks ago, she was fantastic. It was basically an indie rock show: live rock band as her backing group, older hipster fans…

abrams is compared to spielberg and lucas not because he builds upon what they did (as they did with serials and comics), but because he copies their style without adding anything new or interesting of his own

This is actually correct. There's a lot of material to suggest that Felicity's premise was based on THE SUGARLAND EXPRESS, and then much of season 2 and beyond took up the themes of THX-1138. It's all pretty freaking obvious if you know where to look.

would Abrams even have a career, or an idea, if Spielberg and Lucas never made a movie

How come no one is talking about Liz putting her hand on Peter's knee? So odd

The difference between this and usual boots would be that Liz and Peter should have been able to convince Aubry and Neal that it was one of the olds going home, but they didn't seem to do a lot of work on that. Rather than building any strong alliances with the other two voting blocks, they were content to just

i thought this too - that the real reason Scot wanted him gone was to break up an early strong two person alliance

i think bro is trying to EGOT

dude can really make a trailer

I played Batman and Son for my 7 year old nephew for about 5 minutes and then had to turn it off when 50 people were violently and explicitly murdered

But seriously, he was really great in the Martian and I am glad he's getting more work. Despite limited screen time, his character felt totally "lived in" - immediately plausible as this unassuming but highly respected scientist and project manager.

i dislike most of the characters on Transparent and Girls, but love the shows
