People can also be arrogant, stupid, vicious, egotistic, wilfully ignorant and sexist. Are you trying to make an argument that those people should be given legal and societal exceptions for what they say and do?

They’ve realised (slowly, because they’re stupid) that they live in a country where they can probably get away with this. Like children realising that they can beat up the poor kids on their street because their parents have no power.
