I was literally having this conversation with my wife this morning. Honda likely overtook Harley in U.S. sales for the first time in 2024. We won’t know for sure until Harley’s Q4 sales data comes out next month. 

Well, an even playing field would be great. The problem is that everything around ICE has been subsidised with billions and billions each year since we started using it. So it’s we’d have to subsidise EVs for another 50 years while removing them from ICE to have that even comparision.

Wrong regarding the “now”-part. They have had the “registreringsgebyr” (registration tax) for as long as I can remember. It has been based on price, weight, hp and emissions.
