The first Chicago Mayor Daley had advice that he gave to every young political hopeful in his camp: Never, ever, ever accept a dime from someone who wants your help, just hand him your business card. Trump understands this quite well. He wouldn’t embezzle funds, knowing that leaves a paper trail. Instead, you simply

Oh boy....change out “cars” for “real estate” (bitcoin? hookers?), change the date to 2029, and the location to Mara Lago, and let’s have this convo again.

Isn’t that what every fine is in the end?

Sadly, as long as one outlet is willing to run a story before the facts can be sorted out, it will always be a race to get *something* out fast, regardless of veracity...

Remember, NHTSA says pedal confusion accidents happen 44 times per day in the US. But we should first blame the Tesla, then read the car’s logs, then we can blame the victim driver for mashing the go pedal instead of the stop pedal. :)

The body line would look a heck of a lot better with a longer roof.  Either a proper hatchback, or a notchback.  Fastbacks suck.  This is why my last three Mustangs were drop tops even though I hardly ever put the top down, they had a notch back roof line.

There are fastbacks that have trunks and fastbacks that have hatches. This is a hatchback, because it has a hatch and not a trunk

I just swapped in the Blizzaks on my truck and the wife’s car last weekend. Took just over an hour in the driveway for the two vehicles combined, with a floor jack, a breaker bar and my little quarter-inch Dewalt impact. Balmy 46°F temps made the labor tolerable.

I mean youre 100% right, but I dont see that happening for 100 years

How dare you! That is an insult to sporks everywhere.

Only a good guy who's distracted can stop a bad guy who’s distracted!!!

Not in Colorado but on my street there is a stop sign that is always ignored, one day while walking the dogs in a ravine I saw a broken traffic sign that indicated ‘camera monitored intersection’ so being a lawful kinda guy I dragged it out and left it for the traffic department. Oops I meant I took the sign home and

100% agree. If you want a normal amount of space in the back nowadays you need to purchase an enormous vehicle. I have one child and one Labrador, and according to Kia I need to buy the 6,000 pound EV9 to fit them both.

Sounds like the real issue is road design and the sign should say “INSTALL TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES [blurred vulgarity]”

The hero that we deserve, and that we need.

basically came for this.

I’d even take a hatchback/liftback. Mazda made a liftback for the first gen models that was VERY practical. I almost bought one, but too many red flags at the shady buy-here-pay-here lot where we found it.

The distinction here is, Mazda will use a rotary engine purely as a range extender and not as the primary engine. I assume it will operate under a much narrow and more ideal envelope of conditions than what was used in the RX models. I also assume the rotary generator will be far more compact, quieter, smoother and
