Personally, the Ioniq 6 and Ioniq 5 aesthetics are a 1 and 3 out of 10, respectively.

I really would love a 3row SUV
Is it tho? Is it really?
Still a firm believer that if you really do need a third row you should just get a minivan. It’s better in every way for everything you’re actually going to do in the vehicle.
I suppose it could be argued that there remains a penalty under this legislation that if you get hit while jaywalking it’s still your own damn fault but that’s not exactly a punitive penalty, more of a consequence for being stupid.
Fair enough. I can admit when I’m wrong. Today I learned a thing.
Why are all of the Ioniq’s so damn ugly?
EDIT: I’m doing more research into the distinction between the two terms, but after reading the text it still looks more like decriminalize than legalize, even if they use the term legalize. I may be wrong.
It’s not legalized. It’s decriminalized. The difference being that the cops won’t stop you, but it’s still your fault if you get hit by a car outside of a crosswalk. It’s a small but important difference. They did the same thing here in Hawai’i, and people here were also given the wrong understanding by articles…
I firmly believe that visible spectrum cameras alone are the best way to go (perhaps with the addition of radar parking sensors). Lidar, radar, V2V, V2X, etc. are all crutches that serve only to prop-up a system that just cannot do what they are hoping they can make it do. Lidar and Radar don’t provide nearly as good…
Poor Financial Planning Totally Screws Man Over, And He’s Not The Only One
There, I fixed it.
Been on my first bike, a little CB500X, for two years now and I’ve found it’s pretty much perfect for these crappy Hawaiian roads that are constantly under construction, or constantly in need of construction. I go grocery shopping on it and flog the hell out of it every time I ride it. But I never take it off road…
Hey Mazda, bring back MazdaSpeed and then let them go nuts. I’ll buy it.
Either a gravel bike or hard tail mountain bike and a long rail trail or canal path.
The problem is that there are only two Toyotas I would buy personally, and after the new Tacoma was released that pretty much dropped to one. The new Tacoma looks too much like the Tundra. It’s one of two trucks you can buy with a manual still, but now it’s almost as ugly as the Gladiator so why bother buying either? T…
Different strokes, I suppose. I had ACC on my 2020 Tacoma and it was absolute garbage. Any time somebody would merge in front of me, even 10 car lengths ahead, even with follow distance set to minimum, the damn truck would slam on the brakes. It was bad enough that I figured out how to use an arduino to automatically…
You know what works even better than AEB? Putting the damn phone down and paying attention.
Yeah, but I’m not going to blow that much money on a Ford Edge with some lipstick on it. Everything about the interior and exterior is just ugly to me.
To be fair, I can’t think of a single even somewhat recent V6 that actually sounds good. It’s part of the reason I never put an exhaust system on my Tacoma while I had it, I never even heard one driving by with an aftermarket exhaust that actually sounded good. Same goes for the Colorado/Canyon, and Ranger and…
So, aesthetically it’s just a Rivian but looks like it was designed by Dreamworks instead of Pixar. It’s an improvement, at least. If they really want to lean into the “Retro” style, they should ditch the extra screen on the dash in favor of a digital rearview mirror though.
Is it just a requirement now that the more expensive a vehicle is the uglier it has to be? The grille, lights and lower valance look like fancy garbage, like a Dolce and Gabbana garbage bag. The rest of the unjustifiably expensive Ford Expedition exterior just looks like a cinderblock with wheels and the interior...…
