I guess I am the target audience for exactly this device. I rock an iPhone mini so even with the backbone the screen is a little small for remote play, I find the iPad a little too cumbersome for setting on my lap for remote play, and my Ps5 is upstairs in the den while I’m hanging out with the spouse and kiddo

Just out of curiosity, what are we calling poor battery life these days? I’ve had a Ps5 since launch window and I’ve never even thought about my battery, and that was during some pandemic-era gaming sessions too! True, I am in the habit of charging it between every play session (sprung for the dock) but I wasn’t aware

Right? Came here to say this. I genuinely feel like I’m watching a different show than the author. And also, glad I wound up watching the episode “live” and not waiting until this morning and seeing this headline. I’d spend the whole episode wondering how they did Tess dirty instead of just enjoying this phenomenal

This. For sure. I recently watched a trailer for the HBO show with my wife and told her I was excited for the show, and may have also used the words “best story in a video game” in my build up. Is it the uncontested best? Probably not (Commander Shephard and Tidus & Yuna whisper behind me) but that’s surely a

YES!! thank you! I could not for the life of me remember the word (or take 2 seconds to google it :)

I was just able to manually apply the update through the Apple App store after reading you r comment and thinking, huh! Mine isn’t updated either!

If I had one of those person duplicators from old Calvin and Hobbes strips, there would be a copy of me blissfully rewatching Battlestar Galactica right now. But I can barely keep up with new shows, and can’t justify the time to rewatch a series I’ve already seen through twice... although admittedly not in several

Oh sweet god. Give me all the crafting systems in the world if we can just never have to deal with over-encumbrance again. I don’t usually dive deep into the modding scene (fair play if you do; I just don’t have the time to keep them updated) but I will almost always check to see if any type of open world game has

Honestly, I stopped buying copies (mostly - I do own a Ps4 version) after the Wii edition. Once you waggle, it’s hard to go back. Every once in a while, I will pull out my Wii (this is a family website!) and play two things: Wii Sports and RE:4.

Ah yes, the now standard Kotaku line that literally everything Sony does is mind-bogglingly confusing. Three tiers of plus, you say? Madness! Have to sign up for a free rewards program through the free app? Lunacy!

Thanks for the heads up! Same and same; just downloaded!

All original PS+ subs rolled over into the lowest tier of the 3 tier system, and is essentially exactly what you had: a couple of free games a month (yes, I know, they aren’t technically free blah blah bah) and online services. You can choose to upgrade to the extra or premium tiers if you want access to the PS Now

I mean, to paraphrase the article, it all depends on what you mean by “win.” As someone who has always played Diablo as much for the leveling and unlocking of skills as for getting loot, and frequently rolls a new character rather than endlessly grind for a slightly better gear set, being able to consistently enjoy

One would have to assume that since he is down there alone, he isn’t getting paid for all this upkeep, thereby also making him... a free mason?

In a developing story, the descendants of Sigmund Freud are now sueing the software company for their unlicensed use of the word “Id”...

Or you can just play the new Skyrim Ps5 super edition while you wait for the free ps5 Witcher edition! :)

I can’t give this enough stars. Well played.

I mean, she also does supply both the real estate and a literal endless and ever-growing supply of furniture, materials, customizations, etc... Feels like she puts a lot in to each project.

To take the math further, I’ve currently got three people on my family plan that all pay Animal Crossing. It would cost us $75 total to each get the DLC pack, or for an additional $45 dollars total (already paying $35 for the vanilla family plan) we all get access to the ACDCL. No brainer in this particular situation.

As someone who doesn’t have a ton of time for gaming right now, I’m finding the looping mechanic rewarding as I can hop in for a half an hour or so and make progress, then go do real life stuff, then maybe knock out a level or two before bed. So many immersive sims require a large time commitment to be immersive, but
