Your comment (and this post) motivated me to finally invest in some bralettes from Aerie! I’ve long worn their cotton briefs, but I’ve been trying to make the switch from uncomfortable padded VS bras to something that actually fits, and now I’m super excited to get my order in a week. Thanks for the suggestions! :)

This is my jam too! I love being able to fill it out on my own time (Hubs and I usually go to a brewery for the day while we research), and then drop it off to get my sticker on election day. Happy voting!

I also love getting out and being a part of the action on election day! Luckily, California allows me to get a mail ballot that I can fill out ahead of time, then I just drop it off on election day (and get my sticker). Best of both worlds! Happy voting everyone!

THANK YOU for this comment. Like, I’m not going to physically or legally stop these people from having a 6th kid, but I can sure as shit judge them for adding more stress to an already overstretched planet. No one should be having 5+ kids. Sorry not sorry.

I want to sew this comment on a fucking pillow. It’s absolutely spot on.

I absolutely LOVE the Urban Decay finishing spray! I tried some new brand the last time I went to Ulta (mainly bc I wanted to experiment with a primer/finishing spray combo... to save money) and was severely disappointed. Will def be going back to UD’s Slick next time. I use their eyeliner too and agree that it’s

Another Beto-backing Cali resident here. Thanks for the reminder to throw his campaign some money!

This is exactly what I was thinking— the Hollywood machine will *make* him a thing again bc that’s the system we’ve created. Thanks for clarifying the point about his resources; it was helpful!

Jimminy Crinkles” is amazing and I’m going to try and use it as often, and in as many contexts, as possible.

Thanks for the inspiration! I just gave $5 and tweeted about it to get the word out. There are more of us!!

And yes, FUCK these racist assholes. #teamgillum

Oh, how I wish I’d have seen it in the theater and experienced the post-movie applause! I also cried multiple times— the part where she’s in the cab going to her mom’s house? Heartbreaking.

Time to watch it again! :)

You’ve got my two favs: Obvious Child and The Wedding Singer.

Oh, and Wall-E!!

A+ list

Obvious Child is, HANDS DOWN, my favorite movie!!! Jenny Slate is perfect and the representation of abortion is wonderful. The part where she’s standing outside of her ex’s house is painfully relatable and hilarious. The hubs and I quote the line “Who would cry?!” on the regular. It’s just such a funny and refreshing

Preach!

YES! Snape was a dick to Lily and a total Nice Guy! Alan Rickman made movie Snape incredibly sympathetic, but book Snape was a jerk off.

It sounds like you’ll probably know all about it (your analysis is spot on!) but if you haven’t listened to the Oh, Witch Please podcast, by Hannah McGreggor and Marcelle Kosman, you

Thank you so much for this explanation. You spelled it out in a concise and heartbreakingly-beautiful way that will help me put my experience into words in the future.

Wow, I’m in awe of Dr. Doe. Thanks for sharing!

One winter, while I was visiting my aunt in Michigan, I put my hand up to the car windshield to see how cold it was outside. When she asked me what I was doing I explained that I was checking the “windshield factor” and she almost died laughing. We don’t get a lot of wind chill updates in San Diego, so 10 year old me

We’ve got four, and our oldest girl (she’s 10 now), Kibou, also loves pets and lap sitting, but hates to be picked up and only wants attention on her own terms. Our two boys, Coi & Dusty are lovers, and the other girl, Kuruu, isn’t much of lap kitty, but she’s incredible chill and sweet. I’m loving all these accounts

Ugh, people who intentionally startle their cats are monsters. Like, why do you even have a cat if you just want to scare it? And then they wonder why their cats don’t trust them. smh. My experience with all of our cats has been similar to yours— love, cuddles, and trust.
