You can't go wrong! I recommend starting with Near Dark - it's fabulous, but also interesting in that it's her first film and shows a lot of her true preoccupations (I think).

Me too, I think she's intelligent and talented. I'd much rather see interesting/challenging films from her pov than more conventional or reassuring storytelling.

Looking at the images in the article about the original bling ring, it seems that not one but two Latino characters could have been included in the film. It's confusing though- the article states there were six members of the ring and then shows pictures of seven.
