Could you explain why you think the IS-F is inferior to the M3?

276 hp from a 2.0 turbo four...hmm how many years has Hyundai had that now?

Yeah the old Mazda3 never looked that good...now compared to the new one it looks terribly bland.

What does fun have to do with anything I am arguing about?

I agree. All I saw was a pig of a car cutting all the corners, crossing double yellows, and still being slow. Look at when the Mono cornered...it was twice his speed with a much sharper turn.

My attitude isn't "liking performance is so mainstream", your attitude is just the sheep mind.

It's just a much heavier MK1

Look. Let's just agree to disagree. You obviously give no points to the BRZ for what it does and who it is marketed to. The BRZ is a sports car, not a performance car. People like me and the others arguing with you understand that. Paying 25k for a fun-to-drive car is worth it, paying 25k for a faster, but not as fun

You drive a Corvette so you should know sports cars are not defined by their numbers. Don't even act like 25k is a lot of money for a new car. The average new car coming off the lot these days is over 30k.

If you would rather be driving the wrong wheels and going 0-60 a tiny bit faster then yeah I guess those hatchbacks would be the better buy. If you want a proper sports car that doesnt look like an egg and is inherently much better balanced, then the BRZ makes more sense. But everyone has their preferences, some

Good thing your AW11 has proper weight distribution.

Oh is it 2004 again? I didnt know people still bought less fuel efficient, less practical vans dubbed "suv" just because they happen to wear their manhood on their car.

why would u need options? Itd just make the car heavier.

Better yet, for $84k I'd just get a 911.

Being a death trap just adds more to the fun. ;)

The people who bought 30k cars at 18 probably had no other expenses or was barely scraping by with car payments. You have to think about fitting a 911..a 90k car into a life where u pay rent, and provide for yourself and loved ones. At an optimistic 60k a year after you do unpaid or underpaid work for 2-3 years...you

I'm not saying the only people who drive cars like that were born into it. But the likelihood of you becoming rich and making enough money to justify buying a 911 is extremely slim. Maybe if your aim was to someday own a sub 50k car, then that becomes an achievable goal through hard work and dedication.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble...but working hard in school doesn't make you a millionaire. Working hard as an employee still doesn't get you cars like that. Being born into money though, that should do it.

They're not classic sports cars. Sports cars aren't supposed to be about the performance figures, they never were. Modern "sports" cars have pretty much all sacrificed low weight and driving feel for cargo room, accessories, and meaningless numbers. Big power may cover up the loss in performance from big weight. But
