@Therru: @shoroko: I've read the Norwegian translation of the first one. And considering Swedish and Norwegian is pretty similar to one another, I suspect the language of both versions to be much the same.

@Willie Williams: Haha. Thanks for the spoiler warning. Just started the second book.

@Bedlam: The scanning is optional and really unnecessary beyond a certain point (and way less time consuming than the Mako parts of the first one).

@Greendomo: The fact that Resident Evil 5 is even more terrible doesn't preclude Dead Space from being sub par.

As someone who played through the first game, I really have no idea why anyone enjoyed it, or are anticipating the sequel. I don't mean to be a negative Nancy, but Dead Space was just sub par in every aspect, from storytelling to camera and controls and onto graphics and art design.

Thank god. It would be a tragedy to see the franchise end this fast when it finally had gotten good.

Now playing

@OutlawDominus: The Quantum of Solace theme was a travesty. Two artists that don't belong anywhere near each other, performing a mediocre song.

@Thorlac: I loved The Saint, but his Bond left a lot to be desired.

@Evdor: Well, whatever it was, it was raping my ears. It reminded me of that incredibly annoying Hide and Seek song that for some reason people liked a few years back. That song made me want to drill holes in my forehead to distract me from it.

The badly autotuned song towards the end made it sound like the alien invaders started breaking out in song.

Short list? More like long list!

I want to see this movie more and more, despite how cheesy it may be.

The graphics are pretty nice. They're just not funny, unfortunately. I don't know what it is. Too much self indulgence, maybe.

Clearly a cinematic masterpiece.

@TomSkylark: Be Kind Rewind and School of Rock were excellent. King Kong and Tropic Thunder was pretty OK.

@Rianq: Pfft, you had Visigoths. And stuff.

@Zoomba: Well, it's not easy becoming famous when those damn dirty Scots steal all the parts, now is it?!

Well, first they gave the vikings scottish accents. Then they actually got it right and put an Icelandic singer in the movie.

@FrankenPC: People like stuff that is not identical or similar to stuff I like?! And it's possible for this stuff to be awarded because other people's taste has merit too!? Really?!? Seriously??!

@Clutchman83: Sigur Ros/Jonsi is an acquired taste, and this isn't exactly his strongest song, but at least the filmmakers deserve credit for thinking outside the safe mainstream guidelines and opting for something different than the usual Celine Dion-y balladery that is always featured in these kinds of movies, be it
