Give her a few more years, to realize she won't be anywhere near as successful doing anything else than writing follow-ups or tie-ins to Harry Potter, then maybe she'll drop some of her pretensions. Then again, maybe not.

I have to second that. By all means, make a movie set in the same universe, and have it be tangentially related, like Prometheus/Alien, but I'm getting real tired of the fake direct sequels to classic franchises. For me, it tarnishes the legacy of the classics.
