Transit agencies could have adequate means to address these concerns if they received adequate funding. Taking your fare elsewhere is only going to make that problem worse and is only going to provide benefit to private investors instead of the general public.

NYC buses don’t stop every block. Maybe there are a few bus lines where this happens here and there, but the idea that buses usually go one block and then stop is just inaccurate.
I love my credit union! They usually have fee-free checking, usually only require $5 in a savings account to maintain your membership, they have a big network of fee-free ATMs, and you can access your account and do banking from almost any other credit union in the country.
