Never ran boston. Qualifying is only bragging if you think thats an impressive time. Theres a female in this thread posted a way better time than I ran. Thats an elite runner.

They crowd races, drive up costs due to crowd control and their cost insensitivity due to general interest in performing the act of running a marathon, rather than having a regular hobby, bore people by the dozens with their self aggrandizing bar stories, never put in the time or dedication to post a halfway…

Fucking zero. For them its all about boring people in bars with their fucking tales of adventure.

I was in the race. We were doing the relay. I did the first 10k in 41. The next guy did the 5.8 leg in 50. With about 5-7 minutes for the train. Our pace was right in the pocket for a qualifying time if you were doing the full.
