Is there a metal strip connecting the float to the pivot bar? Can you bend the bar so the float sits higher? (but not so high that the float needle won’t seal.)
Agreed, but the butterfly shafts run through holes in the aluminum carb body and if they’re worn, they leak air and you’re chasing your tail trying to get it to run well. Weber, SK or Mikuni PHH (I found one in a junkyard!).
