Wow— the “Soldier’s Home” is the site of the VA hospital. I wonder what their top speed on Wilshire was?

Yep!

I was going to suggest a “Big Chill Edition” Porsche 911 with a glovebox full of amphetamines, but that would be too easy to clone.

Somewhere there’s gotta be a Super Beetle convertible with the plate “LADEEDA.”

So....?

Day: made.

Now playing

Clarkson had even more to say about the GTV6:

Wow— that upholstery looks amazing. The tan interiors usually clapped out a lot faster than the black ones in the ‘84-’87 cars.

They’re better than the Alfetta GT’s brakes— the fronts are vented discs. Also, they don’t rust as fast as the ‘70s cars; the body panels are thicker steel which didn’t come from the Soviets.

Actually, I’m most jealous of the tire replacement.

Or parachutes.

Oski Place!

Dianne Feinstein did— she even answered the door when I made a delivery there a couple of decades back. Nice lady.

There actually was one in SF a hundred years ago. Look up Urbano Drive on Google Maps.

Not in SF, except for a couple of weeks at the end of September. Otherwise, it’s goose pimples, chattering teeth and other indications of being severely underdressed.

Or the HOA sues the management company they hired, if they did things that way.

I was going to say “ransom it,” but, yeah.

So where are the 180 other private roads in SF? I just cleaned the loose change from the sofa and...

Yeah, they have security guard posted at the gate at all times.

Like taking wakes in a small boat, but with the road curving to the right, there’s no room for cyclists to make a “chicane” out of it to cross at a right angle.
