Based on my experiments, the original Elgato's HDMI passthrough adds 40ms of input delay. It's not much with an already good setup, but it can mean the difference in Sonic the Hedgehog or Rock Band. I enjoy my elgato just fine even so.

AMAZING.
If the music thing is there to stay, I won't be. It doesn't solve the copyright problem. Images, sounds, even character designs are all subject, making the music identification annoying and ineffective.
The remake comes with a dual control scheme as well—there's the classic controls, as well as a newer control scheme, in which the character moves in the same direction as the analog stick.
Absolutely!
I am extremely happy to see this as setting a precedent. Now that Harmonix has been asking people about what they'd like to see in a new Rock Band, there's a great argument for getting a bunch of my xbox 360 songs onto gen8. Except, you know, bullshit copyright licensing.
Just a bug. Texture card is referencing invalid data. And then it looks like it's z-fighting with the ground mesh. They'll fix that no problem.
I used to play them for fun. I still do, but now that I make them for a living I play them to study what cool new feats of art and technology people are achieving.
This is EXACTLY how I felt about Marvel Puzzle Quest. I've played the hell out of the first two mainline Puzzle Quest games with total satisfaction. But 10 minutes into the Marvel one, I'm blocked by wait timers, character packs, and the total inability to just unlock everything for $5. So sad.
..Get it?
Breasts protected: check. Character design!
P.S. Get your retro games catalog all in one app and charge a quarter of what you normally do for each title, tied to that app and Nintendo ID. Then, go shake hands with the people who make Dolphin Emulator. Throw money and dev kits at them, and watch them bring your entire Gamecube/Wii catalogue over to Wii U in…
My dream? F-Zero. Find the old Sega team members that made GX, throw money and dev kits at them, and bring it up to Generation 7.5 on the Wii U. And please, no running and gunning sequences.
And on that subject, a proper Star Fox.
What I'd like to see from Nintendo on the subject of innovation is local multiplayer -…
What a crock of shit. The best defense in there is the artistic readability. That leads me to believe this was not only purposefully downgraded, but astonishingly rushed as well. You can tune shaders and textures all the way up until release, even afterward, if something doesn't read correctly. You don't say "eh,…
I would love to see the Assembly explanation of all this.
Wait, people own Vitas?
I missed all my chances at visiting the Mario Cafe back at the old Nintendo Campus. The <strike>slaves</strike> quality assurance testers have felt negatively about it when I've asked them. Hmm.
So, both sides are right about this. Adding female assassins - PROPERLY, with correct locomotion to their anatomy - would be twice the work. But that hasn't stopped anyone before. Female Shepard uses all the animations of Male Shepard, just a new mesh skinned to the same rig. It's why she runs so awkwardly, and…
