Would have been nice to see them retouch the skinning on some of these characters. Because if they have, it's not very apparent. Check the seams on the leather vest on the first video's preview, to name one example. People should have rib cages.

On my screen, Delaware is a 404. If that's intentional, good on ya. If not, my own private joke.
Hahahahaha! Someone somewhere put TONS of time into that physics sim only to forget the preservation of volume.
Until they support MKV containers, they will not be able to vie for my living room.
When I'm already paying for Xbox Live, I'm very disappointed to be told I don't have "online access." It's like bribing another bouncer after already getting inside the club.
To us game artists, this isn't at all surprising. Even with someone as famous and beautiful as Ellen, the art process happens from the inside out. If you're going to make a character with multiple outfits, it makes sense to start with the nude (or mostly nude) model as a base.
This is all pretty awesome. Thanks, Kotaku!
Since you asked, it's an Android / iOS game called "What's the Lyric."
I'm one of the creators of a free-to-play game, and I have to whole-heartedly agree with spiffypirate. In fact, reading his (her?) analysis of Zynga and slot machine mechanics was a rare bit of validation for my own personal beliefs on free-to-play. I needed it at a time like this, where our game has failed to reach…
I own one of the first SD card-enabled stereos in my car, and I use it to the point it's almost broken. When I'm not listening to the unit's now paltry 2GB limit slice of my audio collection, I switch back to AM radio. FM is dead to me. The shows aren't funny and I always seem to be subjected to the same five 'hit'…
Beautiful graphics? Check!
Crazy epicness? Check!
Spine-chilling music? Yes, CHECK!
Decades of terrible, unimproved voice acting?
Oh.. No thanks. Nothing takes me out of the game more than this.
It's called a comedy show. It's a late night pseudo-news commentary program on Fox News Channel. That butthurt feeling you have? That's the same feeling republicans get every time Jon Stewart makes a poorly constructed ad hominem joke that is more for comedy than reporting. Good job, Kotaku. Way to know your…
I have many thoughts on the character redesigns as well. There has been an emphasis on legibility across the board, all the silhouettes much more clearly defined and separated from each other. Roundness replaces squareness here, and "sunken heads" seem to be eliminated from design and animation thoroughly -…
Color is the name of the game here. Gone is the "black shadow sydrome" of the Brawl's reliance on stock garaud shading and desaturated textures. This will be a marvel to see in HD, moreso than Brawl ever was in emulation.
I call bullshit. If inaccurate garage-project emulators can do this, with every pokemon game, connected and trading successfully online and across LANs, surely Nintendo can figure it out.
I don't.. I just don't get it.
Right behind you, sir.
I can see why this was changed. Slows the pace down too much for little payoff, when the goal is to motivate the character to make the good decision. Great animatic, though!
