I get it. I read an article about how horrible it is to work for the IRS, for example, and really feel for those employees. It’s a shame these Vegas chumps have to keep ruining everything.

I’m suggesting that government employees spend out of pocket for gambling and strippers. Also that they stay within their per diem for meals. Those aren’t unreasonable requirements. That’s how my company works, and I’m private sector.

I mean that’s fine! Spend as much of your paycheck as you’d like! But I hope you don’t put it on a government credit card with the taxpayer’s dollar.

Sainthood is so flawed and dependent on the values of the times. We studied St. Thomas More in my Catholic high school, canonized for standing against the king’s various heresies, but he also tortured protestants and burned them at the stake. I don’t want Hillary to win the nomination, but if she does, I’ll be at the polls waving Hillary flags because the Republican alternatives are objectively terrifying. All the liberals I know feel the same way.

I’ve loved her ever since I saw a documentary that featured her about our debt problems back in 2005 BEFORE the financial crisis. She turned out to be more prescient than I realized.
