That’s what I usually do when I am in the back.  I started 11th so I tried to stay up front since I was already up there.  Unfortunately for me the field whittled itself down so much that no one crashed late in the race to let me fix my fuel miscalculation.

I have been considering picking up one of these as a commuter/project. There are several under 3k with a dead battery, and I am fortunate that there is a battery supplier in my town.  The MPG/dollar really can’t be beat.

I prefer the Trainz series, but that is mostly because I enjoy creating routes, even though I never finish any. However, I probably buy every 4th or 5th version because the updates between games are minimal. Train Sim 2020 is not bad if I just feel like driving, but I don’t play enough to warrant any DLC. I want to subscribe to your philosophy, but everytime I think about it my wife’s car decided to break that “you cannot fix this in your garage part that costs almost $1k.” When that doesn’t happen, the house says, “let me evacuate the contents of the sump into your basement.”
