My greatest life achievement before age 16 was a Hypercard deck I made in 7th or 8th grade computer lab. It was a simulated 9-hole golf course with a ball and pin on each card - sand traps, fairways, and water drawn in - and 3 club choices to choose from. You would click on the club and the ball would animate - either

Carmen Sandiego for DAYS.

Obviously YMMV with age/intelligence, BUT I’d replace it with “Do you understand (me - optional)?” That way they acknowledge it and can learn to be held accountable.

Great post! Thank you, Kristin. Just curious, but in your research did you come to favor a particular state’s 529 over the others? I live in Cali, but it’s a lot to sift through the different state offerings.

Perhaps he is working on tech closer to the white paper?

Why? Because he wants to bring an ide he suggested to life? You realize this “dickbag” is allowing other companies to use the trademarked Hyperloop name with no intention of stopping them. This dickbag opened up Tesla’s patents to other companies to further the advent of electric cars. There are so many unconventional

Got a 3 month old and I’m still drinking all my daily water intake from the big hospital water bottle! It lets me know I’m getting enough and it’s super handy when I’m nursing and only have one free hand cuz the other arm’s trapped under baby. Love that thing!

That is quite a misleading title. It’s like saying that the base price of a BMW 3-series is $45,000 because the 335i exists.

Sorry but this is a horseshit opinion. Coke Zero tastes a lot different from Diet Coke, it’s sweeter and has that spicy, slightly citrusy flavor to it like Coca-Cola whereas Diet Coke does not. (The “base formula” of Coke Zero is the original Coke formula whereas the base formula of Diet Coke was and is the New Coke

Darling, eat the rice for dinner. Sounds like it might have a nice tropical flavor. I’d suggest making a seafood/coconut soup to go with.....

Eggs are one thing I recommend getting a non-stick pan for. Don’t get an expensive one, because you will eventually scratch it, but it just make life so much easier.

What’s the point of wrapping them individually? My process: peel, drop in container, done. Works like a charm.

I’ve learned to be extremely forgiving when someone forgets we’ve met, and I hope that they pay it forward. I dare to dream that we can, as a society, all agree that this just happens and decide not to take it personally.

I’m not Catholic, but I stand with The Bible and Scriptures that make some thins pretty clear. I’m in Tennessee, southern Baptist, Christian to the core, everything I note and describe is in the Bible, can provide direct in-context scriptures too.

they actually make their own, in a plant in tracy california.

My man, was about to say that!

You can feed a family of four for like $6 on those things.

As a 33-year old adult who was terrible about wearing sunscreen in my younger days, praise the lord for swim shirts. I have a patagonia one with hood (think is used when fishing in flats down in Florida i think) that is a god-send. It is so light-weight and has thumb holes. Highly recommend it.
