I would suggest OVH over Amazon for VPS rental as you can get unlimited data at 100 Mbps up/down and more then enough processing power for about $4 a month. As long as you don’t want to use it for tormenting some illegal it’s a fantastic way to enhance privacy and because they have servers in the US you don’t have to

You can run a VPN via AWS using OpenVPN. I currently use this method.

It isn’t the thickness of the Chase Sapphire cards that makes them difficult to destroy, it is the metal in the middle. You’d also have the same trouble with an Amex Centurion (and soon to be Platinum), Barclay Luxury Cards, JP Morgan Palladium, Ritz Carlton Rewards, and a few others. Those are entirely metal.

My current employer insistent on it, and even said “we’ll have to verify your current income before we can hire you anyway”. So I gave her my current salary and she replied back with “hey that’s $20k less than you’re asking now, that’s a big jump”....so I replied back with “now I need $30k more, take it or leave it”.

My problem with Glympse has been that the route Glympse chose was often a different route from the one I chose to take in Google Maps, so the ETA would be off.

I use them, they don’t catch much wind but because they are built more like a standard wiper with a rubber boot over it they don’t handle severe cold weather very well. Went to Lake Tahoe during a storm and the water that gets up under the boot froze and prevented the wipers from making clean contact with the

In this case, new punctuation is not even needed. To God, and my mother, Ayn Rand.

Exactly, there is no way to fix the ambiguity through punctuation alone. It’s not a good way to say what the writer wanted to say - period. It needs more words, restructuring or both.

Their point is that “packing for shipment or distribution” is a single item on the list. Distribution isn’t an item on the list. Packing for distribution is.

Ah... This must be it... The comma, before the storm.

My big take away from this is that your 7 year old has a smart phone. It’s a whole different world these days.

I haven’t done taxes electronically personally, but according to my new ex-wife who has done our taxes for years, buyer beware, H&R Block software has a shit user experience compared to Turbo Tax.
