No local butcher shop here. The options are Costco, Whole Foods, some crappy chain grocery stores with prepackaged stuff and one that probably gets meat from Costco and cuts it to smaller portions. @bwong2: I’m with you on this. Costco has awesome meat. We just got a prime rib from Costco a couple weeks ago, and it was the best I’ve had in years, and that includes high-end restaurants. To be fair, I did cut it into steaks and grilled them, but that’s just because I can’t stand roasts.

This bone in rib eye is from a Costco and it was delicious.

You’re trying to be a good parent while fighting against possibly harmful social trends and “But dddaaaad! Other kids are doing it!” attitudes. Kudos to you. I thought I was the only one trying to do my job (be a PARENT not necessarily a friend).

Actually, if you look at Fahrenheit’s scale, you see that his ‘arbitrary’ measurement isn’t, at least any more than the Celsius scale is. Fahrenheit did pick the arbitrary point of 32-degrees for freezing, but if you add 180 to this, you get to 212-degrees. As sextigesimal notation was pretty ‘standardized’ in most

Here’s a better way. Don’t rely on email when you need a time-sensitive response. Go talk to Josh, instead.

Not to mention, you figure something out, then the kid(s) hit a developmental milestone or gets sick and your hard-earned sleep routine goes straight out the window.

The first 12 months of parenting is a desperate search for control and constants. Good luck finding any of that. Once you think you’re settled into a new routine, everything up and changes.

It should be mentioned that this is on Sierra only.

Oh absolutely - but if enterprise-critical data can be destroyed by electrically frying a workstation, you’ve got bigger problems.

Personally, I find this to be extremely off-putting.

This can be true for IRL storytelling, but is absolutely not true for fiction. Unlike IRL, fiction relies on a narrator to present the events to the reader, in effect, making mere details into a performance. IRL, the speaker can take the place of the performance aspect, but in a novel, Present Tense hamstrings the

Anybody else notice the featured stencil (Tombstone with RIP) is not possible? How do you carve the letters R and P without leaving little holes?

Only thing holding me back from using the Pi as a daily PC for basic use is the lack of easy second monitor solutions. This looks like it would be a good daily driver.
