Specious correlations if there ever were any.

How does this work if you’re already subscribed to the diapers and you just received a delivery of them?

Don’t be surprised if baby comes before or after the 41 day mark! :-)

But just to clarify, many births may occur “where nothing overly dramatic happens” but that doesn’t mean any two births are the same, even for the same woman.

The thing that surprised me was how many things they do to mothers and babies before, during, and after birth as a matter of course. If you push back on the doctor or nurse (in a respectful way of course) and ask what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, and if it’s really necessary, they’re usually happy to explain

Point taken. But generally speaking, if you find someone with more than a couple dozen reviews, they could be considered accurate. As others have pointed out, find someone who wears an expensive suit and ask them :-)

Totally agree with you! This is a huge security risk in my opinion.

Agreed with the rest. Hard to beat Yelp and personal recommendations.

As others have pointed out, this is something of a useless tip. Basically, it boils down (no pun intended) to 20 tiny batches at 3 minutes a piece, or 3 large batches at 20 minutes a piece. Either way, it’ll still take you an hour to feed a family.

This is awesome news!

This post didn’t address the question of *where* those meals are from at all. It would have been better titled as “What’s really in those supermarket pre-prepared meals”

I actually found the sound of the beat to be harsh and unrelaxing. If it was more of a ping or a beep, I could see that working.

As someone who paid for the app back when it was ReadItLater, this pisses me off. I bought the app, a few months later, they made it free. Now that it’s free, I’m going to “pay” by seeing ads. Depending on how intrusive they are, I may find a new “save for later” solution.

I was taught never to bring it up. Period. So this totally flies in the face of that. It makes it look like all you care about is money, and no employer wants to hire someone who’s only there for money.

Genuine question: What is the advantage of using something like this over Google Docs? I have an entire Google Docs folder dedicated to recipes. I create one doc per recipe. I can add the ingredients list, the steps, and a photo of the finished dish (or even photos of the step-by-step). The recipes are searchable,

The exception I would add is the Target Redcard. 5% off every purchase at Target. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Know what you’re getting into, and these can be a powerful financial tool. Get what you want, pay zero interest, and have anywhere from 3 months to 36 months to pay it off. But yes, if you’re not paying attention, the financial consequences can be devastating.

Notable that no one seems to be lamenting the loss of Carousel.

No flack here. I totally agree!

This is genius! In parenting, as in most of life, you have to pick your battles, and having the opportunity to show your kid “one more” 5 minute video rather than a full 20-30 minute episode is genius!
