Don’t forget the ones who neither know or care what is going on as long as they get that sweet outrage hit. Getting those people to mindlessly scream into the void is the Twitter and Facebook business model.
he joins a chorus of privileged public figures who have felt a need to speak out against this maligned “cancel culture”—which tends to actually consist of marginalized communities speaking out against sustained, systemic abuse

I bet ordering that violence was the closest our president came to achieving a natural erection in years.
Probably because so much of what passes for being progressive online is taking ideologically sexy but wildly unrealistic positions and then shitting all over people who don’t match those positions 100%
I will take a bunch of boudin and some stuffed pork chops from Heberts please
Crawfish are sweeter, and funner as an event. Their flavor holds against the spice better without being overpowered. They also make better leftovers. I didn’t grow up in the heart of Acadiana having shrimp boils. There’s not a restaurant in Evangeline Parish called “the Shrimp Barn”.
Nobody puts tomatoes in gumbo. As…
A lot of food can be cajun style.
Because when you get hurt, your claim to compensation will be thoroughly laughed at when they find out you were playing music and not paying attention to the very hot/sharp/slippery thing you got hurt with.

Counterpoint: NDT has taught me many things, and Jack Crosbie has not enriched my life in literally any conceivable way.
Sounds like par for the course with climate change discussions.
You don’t get to go the distance, even though the Cake song seems to suggest otherwise.
Typical of Newton to have issues with his coach.
Rick is so very much better than older bro Skip :-)

Everybody has their interests, while others’ interests seem boring. This is a company that caters to men who have limited interest in searching or tailoring clothes and allows them to purchase (at designer prices) clothing that looks decent and is fashionable. Why is that bad?
I agree. I’m not sure why, of all the hills to die on, this article seems to try to attack a business that honestly was kinda needed. Their stuff is way overpriced, sure, but no more so than any designer. I’m just not seeing why we should be mad here (besides the company’s dumb name).
