It’s amazing how people can’t see this clip for what it is, a continuation of what Conan thought was a joke at the time. People have really lost their minds if they think there is more to this.

It felt a bit like they wrote the article as an excuse to have a tangent, without properly connecting that tangent to the interview they were talking about. The result is that part of the article feels disjointed, and the conclusion seems a bit like click bait. 

This took a serious left turn to talk about people of color and never found its way back to make a coherent point about why this Kickstarter campaign is a problem. A baffling piece.
