I remember following the series in, IIRC, Autoweek. I’d been following the Alfa Romeos. I've a 1/43 scale Minichamps model of the Mustang hidden amongst my other diecast

I had a 2006 Volvo V50 and the lights were abysmal. Only lit up 10 feet in front. IIwent on various Volvo forums to find a way to improve them. All owners on the pre facelift S40/V50s said no luck. Saving grace is how easy it is to remove the headlights. Pull 2 pins and pull the assemblies out.
My dad ordered a 79 wagon new. Pretty much a stripper but with the 305 v8. Had plenty of grunt especially merging into fast California traffic. No a/c as it would aggravate his asthma. I’d have preferred the “Hippie” 917 paint scheme
June 1966. My 14th birthday was coming up. My day told me to get ready for a trip. Mom has packed some food for us. We drove to the Army post and border a Special Sevices bus with a group of GI’s.
