I’m against any form of domination of women. Which is why I oppose porn. A) the imagery is deeply anti-woman and B) porn is directly linked to sexual trafficking of women and girls.

Just stating my gut instinct. Of course I could be wrong. But porn, like any number of stimuli, plays with your body chemistry as surely as any drug. If people can get addicted to gambling, they can get addicted to porn. Any addiction needs to be fed. I can’t think of one that’s easier to feed today.

Seriously, even as photography, printing capacity, film and video grew, it took work to gather the stuff, especially to do so in secret. A truly extensive collection required quite a commitment of money and effort. There’s no comparison between the Internet era and anything that preceded it.

Sure, but for the majority of human history, the delivery system was equivalent to an eye dropper. In the last century it became a spigot. In the past 20 years, it’s become a water cannon. I can’t cite any science on this, but I have to believe this makes a difference, and not in a good way.
