In fairness, the casts of CW shows do tend to be extraordinarily attractive. And the team is understrength right now, so it has been a bit difficult to avoid throwing Ray and Zari together. Not sure that pairing will stick, though I don’t have anything against it, in itself.

I never really noticed how much Amaya’s totem looks exactly like T’Challa’s necklace.

Man, this was a fun ep. I really loved how they just have to say “Groundhog Day” and dispense with the “no one believes me!” stuff really quickly. And the “fun” montage (the Hawks!) was fantastic. And I loved Nate’s lamp shading “I’m surprised we haven’t done one of these yet!”

Much as I miss The grandfatherly vibe Professor Stein brought to the group, I am really enjoying the Breakfast Club meets Friends meets time traveling superheroes niche LoT has fallen into (Zari is Ally Sheedy in this configuration and Amaya is both Rachel and Molly Ringwald).

Zari is great. I was shocked when people said they didn’t like her. She’s sarcastic and smart and wants to right all the wrongs, what’s not to love?

Zari is one of The Six ... but to me, she is a ten.

I like the implication that putting Zari in the simulation was on one level Gideon messing with Zari to get even for hacking her before & not listening to her at the beginning of this episode. Gideon can be as petty as the rest of them, but ultimately is all about the team.

Nate offhandedly referring to Ray as his “best friend” was a nice & earned moment. Their relationship is very sweet and while both can be annoying they sort of bring out the heroic, unselfish best in each other.

I was annoyed at first that there wasn’t an actual time loop, but the more I think about it the more fine I am with it. With so many time loops being actual loops, it’s a nice change to have one turn out to be something else. Besides, it may not have been “real” in that there was an actual time loop, but it was real

Very good episode. Really helped flesh out Zari and get us to care about her. Loved that Mick uses hunt and peck! :-)

Always liked Zari’s sarcasm and wondered if they were going to flesh her out more, and now I like her even more. The way she went from freaked out to just fatalistic cynicism was hilarious; the cue cards, the way she’d calmly tell people they were about to die, and the bit where she’s standing outside Nate and Amaya’s

So true, they never know how to develop Wally properly as a character in The Flash. Let’s hope LoT lets him shine. And they seem to love putting Flash characters in China recently.......(this and ep.12 of The Flash where Barry illegally immigrated Big Sir to China) maybe cause they are selling these shows to China?

If a few years ago somebody had told me that a one-time Superman actor playing Ray Palmer by way of Ted Kord and 2 Broke Girls’ Max’s ex playing a dude-bro Citizen Steel would be two of my favorite TV characters ever, I wouldn’t have believed it. Yet here we are.

I am a big fan of time loop episode, and this was a damn good one. Also, Tala Ashe is absolutely delightful.

When the AV Club inevitably does a list of “best bottle episodes,” I’m going to complain if this isn’t among them.

Nate would be her Grandfather not father so there’s that. And didn’t they mention something off hand in last week’s episode about it being bad for Kuassa if Nate dies... If Nate and Amaya’s son or daughter marries someone of a darker complexion then it really all works out because... genes! I mean did you see those

Mick typing his apparently brilliantly terrible sci-fi romance novel on a typewriter with the one finger hunt and peck method ... is weirdly perfect, as is that he kept the manuscript under a tight security protocol that included bear traps, safe-type encryption, and bank-type exploding blue dye.

Zari playing the violin beautifully at the end was an homage to the all-time greatest sci-fi show episode, ST: TNG’s “The Inner Light” & Picard with the flute. Yes that was the perfect capper to a wonderful episode & got me in the feels.

Mick’s eyes during Zari’s monologue saying he should not hide his love of writing was hilarious.

This is when Legends of Tomorrow became my favorite Arrowverse show. This episode was so much fun, not even the fact that it was obviously on a budget brought it down. Zari’s fun montage might’ve been my favorite part of the episode.
