Nice of the season to end on BBQ Time! It’ll be curious to see where they go from here since now more so then before everything is now situated in Smallville.

I usually watch this after midnight on the CW streaming site - where they post (what they refer to as) “extended episodes.” I don’t think any of them really extend anything more than 5 to 7 minutes. But even with that much, maybe this ep will breathe a little better.
While you can definitely see the reduction in budget (Season 2 has 1/10th the background extras Season 1 did)
When I saw Max sleeping with Court while snoring, I’m reminded of my late pug, who probably didn’t snore half as loud. LOL
I didn’t realize where I recognized her from, but both of these - the 100, and iZombie, and now Supergirl. She’s bloody fantastic, and I would totally watch a spinoff with her and Olivia Nikkanen.
Izabela Vidovic was also Charlotte, the youngest member of The 100, whose tragic fate in s1 showed the show was not f***ing around. And she was fatally ill Isobel on a heartbreaking arc on iZombie. I am so glad her storyline was less tragic in these two episodes and she didn’t lose Kenny again. She is great & I wish…
I hope Helen Slater will get to return for the final season too. It would be a shame if this were the one season where she didn’t appear.
I love it when they give Bryce Hodgson a chance to shine. Dude’s consistently great in what could very easily be a throwaway role. I think my major hope for the series is that things come out okay for Don E.
Don E is a terrific character. Bryce Hodgson is one of the show’s underrated treasures. I really wanted Liv to come through with him on the love match.
I have no idea how it happened, but I am now very invested in Don E’s finding love.
It can’t possibly be that hard to have some sort of app that allows audience members to submit questions to the moderator, and the moderator can choose from there. This is the obvious solution.
I'm so confused by what the show is doing with Xo and Ro and this River love triangle business. I've really enjoyed seeing them mature into their relationship, growing together. This week felt like such an abrupt step backward. Completely agree we could used a bit more buildup of River's apparent love for Rogelio.…
It would be super weird if he was. He’s talked in detail about Jane’s sex life. Plus the accent doesn’t really make sense.
The talking fish made me think of Wonderfalls.
I feel like the suibplot about multiple zombies getting dosed with Alzheimer’s brain could have been given more weight, or at least played in stronger thematic contrast to Liv being on a teenager brain.
It definitely seems like Niko and Mel’s relationship was destiny. It’ll be interesting to see if she sticks around.
I’m hoping the new show runners will understand that the franchise is supposed to be about family and sisterhood. The current ones seem to get it, but get lost with wanting to cover a lot of ground plot-wise, so it’ll be interesting to see how s2 balances it out.
I hope that this first season really helped them learn how to deal with this world in a way that establishes its own identity but still maintains the themes of the original. I loved the emphasis on sisterhood in this episode, and though the plot points seemed a bit rushed and the breakup scene with Parker was hugely…
I disagree with the most common (reasonable criticism) of the show that it is rushed. I love the fast pace and feel like they do a good job of balancing it with storytelling. It’s a nice change of pace from the Netflix/HULU benge watch model of unnecessarily long drawn out episodes that barely push the plot forward. It…
I’m surprised they didn’t go all the way and have Hell desperate to get rid of Ray because he’s too nice.
