The point was made in the previous season that the girls turned out well-adjusted regardless of their upbringing. Them being bratty lately seems to undermine that.

I felt that the lack of heavy action scenes worked for this episode. Jefferson being powerless in prison made for some viscerally intense scenes. It was tough to watch him being stripped down and debased like that.

Elsa and Anna are awful little monsters and honestly I expect nothing less from Petra’s daughters.

I said that I hoped they’d cast an older actress to play older Amaya but they went and slapped old age makeup on Maisie Richardson-Sellers. That was the last thing I wanted to see and it was disappointing. Other than that I loved the episode.

Bummed that Molly Ringwald is apparently gone from the show again (since Mary said goodbye to/ told off Archie at the end of the episode).

This show continues to have me hooked. It’s paced so nicely and tells interesting stories.

Is there any reason for Tobias’ absence? I know his sister got shot, but I don’t think there’s been any in-universe explanation. I assume they couldn’t afford the actor for the entire season.

I meant recast Mari, because the “we saw Mari in Detroit but the audience can’t see her” and the tiptoeing around that is getting ridiculous. And I’m surprised that Amaya’s been out of her timeline for so long without too many major anachronisms happening (save Mari not inheriting the totem from her). Anachronisms

I figured Kuasa would be killed when she had her change of heart and helped the Legends against Nora/Mallus. That was predictable, but still hit a nerve.

Still enjoying having Wally on this show so much!!! I hope he’ll be staying on for a potential S4 as well!

Gary is better in smaller doses.

I was going to comment about that too. I feel they should recast the live action role. They did with Sara in “Arrow,” and if they didn’t we wouldn’t have the great Caity Lotz. It’s ridiculous how they can’t get Megalyn Echikunwoke to appear for five minutes. Mari is becoming more like Maris in “Frasier” - everyone

Hey, there is nothing wrong with having the ability to control nature. Here’s a clip of Danielle Panabaker (currently Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost on “The Flash”) as Layla in “Sky High,” who was mostly a pacifist but really used her powers in full force when push came to shove.

Makes me miss the obvious Cover Girl placements.

Also I loved them & everyone else in the cafeteria reacting to Ethel dumping the milkshake on Veronica as if they had witnessed something horrific happen...

Oops, never mind. I looked the “Supergirl” scene up again and they’re two different props. Heavy chains with a green gem/mineral hanging off of them and my mind conflated the two. Whoops!

Lynn better not be in danger. She better not be fridged. I have a feeling that the show is smarter than that and will avoid that trope. I agree with those who think that Henderson may be in more danger than Lynn.

I keep meaning to bring this up but forget to - I think the Earth Totem is a recycled prop from an episode of “Supergirl.” It looks like the Kryptonite on a chain that the DEO tried to use on Reign.

It reminds me of Prue using telekinesis in the first season of “Charmed” and how she made that goofy face when she did. I’m glad it evolved to gestures in future seasons. Hoping Anissa finds a different way of channeling her powers as well.
