CJ is an amazing character, created by Sorkin, but he didn’t write every episode (thank god). I think that fact, coupled with Allison Janney’s performance and some very skilled directors is why that character dodged the “Sorkin shitty writing for women” bullet.
And the death penalty! Those who are “pro”life often seem, in addition to being pro-gun, to be pro death penalty.
