Did they actually produce the content and have it on the disk, then cut it, or was it abandoned unfinished?  If it’s the former that seems like a reasonable ask, but if it’s the latter it would probably be impossible to insert it seamlessly, especially if they didn’t save the original files.

First you need the DLC Patcher. I used to remember precisely what it does, I believe it essentially registers your mods as DLC that the game will recognize and load.

The one really non-obvious choice is who to send back with the crew.  IIRC Mordin is the best option since he’s incredibly frail and tends to die easily and the escort mission is just pass/fail based on loyalty, but nothing in the game makes that obvious.

Did you miss a ship upgrade?  I seem to recall that she’s first on the chopping block if you skipped one of those.

If you do restart just bear in mind that if you want to keep both Tali and Legion loyal, as well as resolve another conflict in the same vein, you need to be either 100% Paragon or 100% Renegade.
