The movie should have gone in chronological order. That way we would have been invested in her relationship with her surrogate earth family, rather than just have to accept that they're basically sisters because we're told.

Pictionary. My friends and I had to stop playing it caused so many arguments.  Nothing can make you hate someone like their expectant expression while they frantically point to a blob that looks like someone ran over a starfish which you later discover is supposed to be the United States.

It’s not uncommon.  I do remember one time I nearly shouted “focus fire you ass!” but I’m usually pretty chill.  

The game is much more diverse these days. My current group is more than half women and 40% black.

They’re both a chore.  Lance for obvious reasons, Allison because at times she’s playing a wargame and resents suboptimal in character choices.  

I would play the shit out of Caverns of Draconis.  

How does Brynn choose who gets to do what?  A GM can make sure everyone gets their chance to speak, and can rein in more assertive players if the shy or quiet ones aren’t being heard, but the players still decide what they’re doing.

Steam needs a "Trying Too Hard" or "Aren't We Quirky" tag.

My take too.  I keep waiting to hear how he kept up the pressure, threatened people, or otherwise violated boundaries, but all I’m reading is that he made passes at straight guys.  And?  Politely decline.  Then firmly decline.  If it goes past that, yeah, it’s shitty and is worth some scorn, but as far as I can tell…

So do I. I’m not saying direct confrontation was a bad idea, just that physical violence would have ended very poorly. “Adult assaults child” will not end well, regardless of how much the bully deserves it.

No, she was smart to lead off like she did.  Most bullies are weak and cowardly, but some can take a punch.  No teenager can deal with an irate mother who won’t let you get a word in edgewise.
