Basically this. The physics in 3D world are very different from the other styles, and this is why it’s so separated from the others. However, the physics of the four other modes are identical, with only things like picking up items in smb1 and wall jumps + triple jumps in nsmb to differentiate the control schemes.

This may sound like a really big thing, but it’s not. Neither are any of the other fun glitches that have come to light. This game is far more polished than just about anything else that comes out these days.
