I absolutely understand and I in no way recommend this game. 😎 It was only good for me because a bunch of my friends got it.

If you've got a bunch of friends to play with, this game is actually a blast (for a couple of weeks, mind you. And if you get it dirt cheap.)

They really screwed this fiasco up, but Nintendo usually makes things right. I dented my wii u gamepad’s screen during a move and they fixed it for free outside the warranty period. I didn't even pay shipping. With all the press surrounding this issue, I'd say you should definitely give it a try.
