Remember when cliche was a bad thing?

They are so fucking fun
There’s a reason I don’t openly identify as a buddhist, and it’s mostly because most people in the US who openly identify as buddhists do it in order to seem impressive and cool to other people. Lots of people in my temple who test my patience.
Buddhists are still people. People mostly suck.
lol
I think the emotional response is precisely why they keep watching.
Both people seem extremely stupid and very concerned with their image. That combination usually leads people to be bad with money.
TV news is entertainment, not information. Period. It’s insane to me how addicted boomers are to it. I work from home and go to the gym in the afternoon, so it’s usually just me and a bunch of 60+ people in there. About 95% of them put on a cable news channel and watch for the entire duration of their workout. I live…
Yes, but I was attempting to imply that her “taste” may be a subconscious expression of the lack of self-worth she feels. In other words, I wasn’t trying to imply that she’s stupid and deserves what she gets from these men. It seems like an expression of trauma, and that’s sad.
I thought you were talking about Chris Hayes for a second. Matthews is an irrelevant Chris.
I was about 10 when this show came out, and my wildly overprotective mom was of course one of the “you can’t watch MTV!” types (she even thought Clarissa Darling was too rebellious, though that backfired on her spectacularly). Being told I couldn’t watch, of course, made me want to watch even more.
She doesn’t want the spotlight? Wat?
I feel pretty bad for Pamela Anderson. She seems to associate exclusively with massive shitheads (including Julian Assange, to whom she would deliver food in the Ecuadorean embassy in London). I know she has a pretty dark past, and the fact that she was held up as a bimbo sex symbol probably doesn’t help either.
That poor bb bear =(
Just dumb luck!
Kind of hilarious that this kind of flim-flam continues to work. What kind of proof do people need that something’s happening? It couldn’t be more obvious that there’s some shady shit going on, but if the man says no, I guess that means no! There’s no such thing as “dumb luck” with ads on Instagram. They don’t serve…
1. Be polite
When I was a messy 20-something with serious mental health issues, I used to call out sick from work by inventing different relatives who’d just died. My doing so didn’t make other people’s second cousins and grandmothers’ deaths any less real. Lies only diminish the liar’s truth. No other truth is impacted. People…
He’s out here once again inviting election interference and people are still acting like this is all fair and normal. As if Georgia didn’t happen just last year. The amount of convincing people need is kind of insane.
The reason Kavanaugh had that tantrum during his hearing is that Trump found Ford extremely credible and said “it could go either way” with Kavanaugh’s nomination after that (meaning Kavanaugh had to put on one hell of a Trump-placating performance, which he did)
