I’m honestly not sure about the circumstances of this, and I can only offer my feedback as a child who bounced back and forth between two badly-divorced parents who didn’t really have time for me in their lives

My favorite time to make pumpkin pie (or anything) is the day after Halloween. I carve my jack o’lantern on Halloween, and then the day after I give it a final solid scraping, then roast that shit up and toss it in the blender when it cools down. It is always delicious and my friends are always impressed.

The joke would be on them. I live up in Tahoe, and we have fires on either side. There is plenty of smoke in the air here and the air quality isn’t great.

When you look at the released names of those who died, they are almost all above 70. Old people move slower and may not hear a knock on the door at 2 in the morning anyway.

I have made one adult friend, and it is wonderful, but she has so many adult friends and I asked her how she met them and apparently you have to leave your house? To go drinking at bars???? (Clutches plastic pearls) Can you imagine to talking to people at bars, in public?

She is adorably sweet. She has been extra chatty with me, and also very happy to steal the heated pad from me. She is an adorable little nurse.

This is day 3 post op, and I am feeling surprisingly great for having an internal organ removed. Tomorrow, I think I will be set to really start scaling back the pain drugs.
