Yep. I knew that everything was a chemical, but still... I suppose I had only really heard about chemical peels, and not milder chemical exfoliants until recently. Now I understand different types of peels too. Yay. I feel so much regret when I think about what I've done to my skin.

I've had to introduce them slowly and develop a great moisturising routine (combination skin urgh), but you can just leave them on for less time or get low percentages. Some physical methods are definitely better than others. I still love a good washcloth.

I tried to let mine grow in for a while (after years of being an over-plucking, awkward goth type), but it didn't work. I still had the same awkward eyebrows, but random hairs burst out in places not connected to my actual brows.

Mild blemishes that are covered up with make up wouldn't really be noticeable unless you're right up in their face. Harsh studio lights and really high quality cameras/lenses show everything.
