“The chance of a five star hero starts at 5% and slowly increases with each new draw.”

This line makes it sound like that’s the standard, but that’s not true. That 5% only applies to one specific banner, and it only applies to the chances of pulling the specific four characters on that banner (the odds for every other

What are you talking about? People are “killing this industry” because of this? This is some needlessly dramatic drivel. If your dream is to create storytelling content, then you’ve elected a life where your dream is “challenged” by everyone. That’s the very nature of story and narrative. If you tell a story people

It’s certainly possible that he realized he was in the wrong and doesn’t agree with the things he said years ago. But he also didn’t delete those old tweets until someone called them out and he realized they might affect the success of his new project. So ... this strikes me as another case of someone only caring when

Is anyone wanting the government to file charges against this guy for what he said? It doesn’t seem like it. So how does this go against free speech in any way? “Freedom of speech” does not mean “freedom from consequences for what you say.”

If you could change one thing about E3, what would it be?

How likely do you think it is that Final Fantasy VII Remake will have a presence at E3? (new trailer, gameplay video, etc.)

When this was first announced, I had no idea why they put a 2017 release window on it. It was so obvious from Day 1 that it wasn’t going to come out this year. I don’t understand why so many developers do this.

I found Mishima’s side story to be among the most interesting of the confidants. He’s a high school loser who becomes so obsessed with finding some semblance of confidence and a place to fit in that he actually has to be pulled back from the dark side. That storyline actually dealt with some relatable stuff and added

Seriously, what the hell? Her motorcycle Persona is AWESOME! Her final form Transformer is awful. I don’t know what they were thinking with that. Still love Makoto, though.

Yusuke Top 3? Really? The creeper who you meet because he tries to blackmail a party member into posing nude for him? And who then refuses to drop the subject even after said party member makes it very clear she doesn’t want to take part? Who, multiple times in the game, shows an utter contempt toward women? Yusuke is

I have to agree. The whole Ike banner is now an obvious bait banner, intended solely to get people to spend the orbs they’ve accumulated to get a popular character. To instantly follow that up with this mega-powerful banner and not have new quests accompany it to get orbs strikes me as greedy. I get that it’s a

Man, Nintendo. This is really taking “forced scarcity” to a new extreme. “We understand it’s been hard to find these, and for that we apologize. To make it up to you, we’re going to stop making them altogether.”

One of the complaints I’d heard from critics who got some time with Andromeda a couple weeks ago was that it was buggy and crashed repeatedly. Did you experience that issue? I assumed there were probably playing an old build that would be fixed by release, but I’m wondering if it’s already been addressed.

Colin is a very intelligent guy, so it surprises me that he would make such a dumb joke. The joke itself isn’t really the problem — it’s a stupid joke that a million people have made before. His follow-up to the joke is a problem, though. If he’d just shrugged it off, everything would have blown over. But saying

You’re entitled to your opinion and all; I’m just curious why you feel that way. Is it just a “because I do” situation? I have no idea why playing a female character would be such a big deal that it makes you unable to enjoy a great game.

Agreed on all counts. I’m so impressed by how polished almost everything in Horizon is. The attention to detail is a big reason why the game is so immersive and so fun to play.

However, I do feel the need to point out the thing I find incredibly unpolished and annoying: The fact that the game doesn’t track the weapon

Of course I realize that. Just thought it was funny that the thing people have been clamoring for is, in many ways, the exact opposite of what they’re giving us.

Blizzard heard the calls for a tank with a vicious melee attack, fun personality and celebrity voice (Doomfist/Terry Crews), and gave us a robot tank with no personality and a ranged attack.

Did you watch the video? It was clearly a subversive, facetious way of criticizing Nintendo’s policies toward content creators and their approach to copyright law in general. It wasn’t actually advocating piracy.

Mercy in her Halloween witch costume is the only pixel-based woman to ever be in a dream of mine. And I was totally on board with it.
