...which actually supports the MIT argument.  If you are paying additional to avoid seeing ads, then that further cuts into the cost-per-mile equation.

...and your credentials are?

Nobody with anything less than an 8-figure bank account, male, pasty-white skin, and zero tolerance for anything other than themselves should be voting Republican *ANYTHING*

It wasn’t clear from the article, but can we assume that the pilot was in the process of taking off, rather than landing?  That might explain the relative lack of destruction with the plane not having much velocity before coming down.

I keep waiting for this unfathomably stupid fad to go away, but here we are 30 years later and people are still destroying perfectly good cars.

No, dumbass. And for the record, they didn’t just say “Roundup gave me cancer” and the judge said “OK case closed.” If you’d actually bother to, you know, learn something instead of spewing your right wing nonsense, then you’d know that they presented a number of scientific, peer-reviewed studies to prove their case.

The CDC is flatly ignoring the data in court cases proving vaccines cause autism too....

Um...no, that’s what the current leadership in the EPA is doing.  They are flatly ignoring the data which was presented in those court cases and just waving their hands and saying, “nothing to see here, please continue supporting the giant corporation which has fully captured our regulatory agency.”

...and, yet, witness the fact that limo service drivers are actually treated like employees.

“We have heard nothing so far,” a senior Democratic official on the Senate Appropriations Committee, which must sign off on any funds that State wants to reallocate,

Also:  the State Department just ordered all non-essential personnel out of Iraq and have put out a travel warning.

Nice red herring. Things get approved all the time, and then—when more modern research methods are developed—those things get pulled from the market. You know this, but you’re not interested in discussing it in good faith.
