Don’t tell my hypochondriac-and-totally-susceptible-to-the-placebo-effect wife. The idea that she can get GF dishes is the only thing that allows us to eat out once in a while.

If my car blew I would never stop driving.
People like him and DeVoss view any poor person that they deign to “help” more like pets than human beings.
Agreed. However, I would point out that--as much as everyone keeps saying how they will support the nominee because 2016--they keep failing to point out that the 2020 primary isn’t a completely rigged game. The open flood of candidates alone proves this.
Except, what everyone keeps conveniently failing to point out is how much Clinton was openly despised by roughly half of the nation, and how she was one of the least trusted candidates in the history of polling on the subject. Warren has none of that baggage.
Only if you’re within 5 years of retiring--and most of those people should have transitioned mostly to bond funds and out of stocks by then anyway. If they didn’t, then tough shit for them for not paying attention.
Shhh...
Thing is, these Republican assholes do it because it works. Democrats are so fucking spineless, generally speaking, that they almost always come out with some kind of apology, no matter how much of a double standard is displayed.

BOOM! Let’s hear it for Feast Days!
Say that to any Republican knuckle-dragger and they’ll nod and say, “yes...and what’s your point?”
No, just by one woman who chased him out of the 2016 primary cycle.
Fun fact: Sundays during Lent are considered Feast Days and are therefore exempt from the usual Lenten restrictions. If you count all the days from Ash Wednesday to Easter and then remove all the Sundays, you get 40 days.
I think it’s important to distinguish the fact that, while both servers and housekeepers get paid shitty wages, the housekeepers aren’t being paid $2.13/hour, which is why the percentage-based tip isn’t used.
The really stupid thing is, if greedy corps like Stop and Shop actually put their workers first, they would be more profitable than they are by trying to squeeze them to death. The research is clear and gets reinforced every year.
I’d rather shop at Shaw’s than Market Basket which is my only option at this point.
It’s that way for a lot of food products, sadly.
I would say your first “Pro” is actually a “Con”. I see no “Pros” in having Pence as President.
What could possibly go wrong?
People used to make fun of me for years because I refused to create a Facebook account. Now I tell them, in as smug a manner as I can, that I am simply 20 years ahead of my time.
