The time when Peter Molineux or Richard Garriott used to put their hands in the dirt is gone, you know ? The first one is even selling NFTs now...

You can remove “Gaming” from the title...

Hope the CEO you have a crush on sees this, bro.

CEOs should never be able to make a certain percentage above their workers. This money should be funneled back into the employees of the company instead. I am fine with CEOs making millions but when they make 500% more than anyone else, we have an issue. How long can we keep doing this? CEOs have an important job, but

This is a great example of what’s being discussed here

As someone who is invested and understands NFTs

Spoken like a person who wants their team to succeed

“As a very smart person who knows lots of things, let me tell you about how smart I am and how many things I know. I am very smart about things that you are not smart about, but no, I will not explain how the smart things I know are actually smart or useful, you’ll just have to trust me about how smart I am.”

Besides the odd All my apes gone.” to point and laugh at.

Unfairly assumed? Have you watched any of the pre-release trailers and promotional materials? Developer interviews?

Now what if I take my copied jpg and put it on the blockchain to make it a seperate NFT? Who says your NFT is the original or even worth as much as mine?

I think this is the most accurate comment on the thread. I went into it with low expectations. I knew nothing about it beyond it was made by the people who made the Witcher series. That’s it.

I am in no way excusing CDPRs many, many, many over-promises, misrepresentations, and straight-up lies during development and marketing leading into release. Those things are entirely on them...

That’s what you get for a praise about a mediocre game.

It’s a mediocre game.

I didn’t get any of that sort of “feeling” from the city at all. It was pretty, I’ll give it that, but it still felt as hollow and fake as any other metro city in a game.

“Not great, kind of disappointing in some aspects but overall fun enough..”

Not to mention that game is still missing features and system functions that were advertised right up until launch by CDPR themselves.

...you do realize that this isn’t the compliment you think is. When you have to revert to “sure its disappointing and not great...BUT PEOPLE SHOULD STEP OFF”,

Doesn’t say much about the game’s quality.

I was most surprised by Guardians of the Galaxy.  I expected nothing.  I really had no interest in it when it was announced.  But after reading a lot of positive reviews and seeing it on sale, I picked it up on Black Friday.  I’m currently playing through it now and I love it!  The story and voice acting are A+++.
