Why does it need to die, it is still good. You don’t like it stop watching it.

Episode Grade: C-

I feel like this was explicitly stated a few times in the lore leading up to the area, that a torch is fine but deeper into the area even that won’t cut it. Daylight spell does wonders in this area, as does the Blood of Lathander. Having that mace equipped on someone protects them without tying up a hand for a torch.

There’s plenty of serious stuff alongside lighthearted and sillier moments like choosing to ask Halsin to remain in bear form (the scene can be a rather tender one if you opt for a different route, and really the only truly silly moment is the squirrel’s reaction). If you, the player, choose sillier moments, the game

Fanboys when discussing console wars: Microsoft has no console exclusives, all their games are on PC!!

MS paid for timed exclusivity on the second TR reboot game, not the third. But yes, historically MS is just as guilty as Sony of exclusivity bullshit. That said, they’ve gotten better as of this generation. At least they launch all their games on PC day one now. That’s a marked improvement over the Xbox and X360

PS3 outsold Xbox 360 btw. Sony is SO dominant that since X360 came within 90% of PS3 sales, sonybots insist Playstation was somehow the underdog, when they have not once lost a console gen to Xbox Game Studios.

The CEO is entirely correct. PlayStation forced exclusives to be the method any interested players must utilize in order to compete at all. Sony controls the market, they are the dominant player.

Battle Passes are one of the worst creations of the past 20 years. Customers are paying for the opportunity to grind. How about you just give me the stuff I paid for?

I’m gonna guess someone different here: Savvy Games Group (the Saudi games holding company). Plenty of money to throw around, fickle as fuck.

Uh, you know not buying the fucking games is a choice right?

Social media does seem to be making people angrier and angrier about things. Maybe it is the vocal minority, I don’t know, but the Xbox vs PS5 war on Twitter is ridiculous for instance. It’s worse than people that fight over sports teams.

There are! Extensively! It’s one of the things the Jedi games do best. Completely unexplored areas get a yellow box around them, traversal objects you can’t access yet are red, and ones that you now can but haven’t yet are bright green. Extremely handy. The only part that remains annoying is when you return to a

It’s rough when you realize Jade Empire is basically Star Wars with martial arts magic replacing space magic. I mean, the game even has a Vader and Palpatine.

As someone that has played games their whole life primarily for the unique narratives and artistic expressions that only interaction provides, it never ceases to shock me that when I talk to friends and acquaintances that also play games, they almost all don’t give the slightest shit about the story, many often

Right, giving a shit about the characters, their background, their world, and how they shape it helps motivate play and all that requires a good understanding of how to create that world. As I like to say here, writing is hard, yo, and most consumers prefer visual appeal than literary.

There are plenty of smaller scale games. They just aren’t being released by the big publishers. Luckily, there are lots of smaller publishers still supporting them. Focus, Devolver, 505, Frontier Foundry, Humble, Team17, Kalypso, Prime Matter, Modus, New Blood, 3D Realms, Microids, Coffee Stain, META, Paradox,

self control and personal accountability are good things to have and to encourage. but using them as a reason to shift blame away from companies that are intentionally being exploitative is not good.

Wrong. ALL WRONG.
You only need one game.

I find the lack of Deus Ex disturbing.
