Hi, hello, I want to clarify something I’ve seen said a lot. I don’t dislike crunch by any means! In fact, I like it a lot when it is well presented and used in interesting ways. I am the roguelike person on the website. I also do not think depth is bad by any means!

If your game asks me to process 25 different classes, each of which has like 4 archetypes therein

An update to textures/models is a remaster, not a remake.

To very slightly clarify: It’s not that Apple has to allow developers to use other payment systems; they have to allow developers to link to external payment systems.

Thats not actually how this played out. I dont think anyone other then this click baity headline would say that Epic won. Epic does not get their own distribution platform in iOS, Epic does not get their own payment processing in iOS. What Epic and all other developers did win is a victory for common sense. They are

Exclusives (timed or otherwise) are stupid. Not buying the PS5 for it. Also, who the F is that with Revan and Bastilla? Those other two are not companions from KoTOR. Is that their kids (Spoiler they have kids).

I very much disagree. I LOVE KOTOR.. one of my favorite all time games - but I already played it. I’m not interested in replaying games when I have like 100 other new games piling up on my shelf. To get me to spend 40+ hours playing this it better be basically a new game gameplay wise with just the same characters and

I was just about to post an FF7R comparison. That game was made interesting not by slavishly copying what had been done before, but in taking opportunities to update the story in some ways and noticeably change it in others so that it’s not purely a repetition of its predecessor. If a remake is going to be literally

Anyone else noticed how Spider-Man’s boob size was reduced between the trailer and the official images?

I’m sorry, but did you say Tony Fucking Todd is doing Venom’s voice?

Apropos of nothing, I went to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show midnight showing exactly once as a teenager.

Truth. It was mediocre at best, and the “let’s set it during WWI instead of WWII so we can seem different and avoid comparisons to the first Captain America movie, but let’s make the villains basically Nazis anyway” thing irritated me. And then WW 1984 came out and everyone was so upset because it sucks, and I’m

Frankly I think a lot of the praise/energy around it was because it was woman-led and woman-directed. And that does make it important, and I’ve listened to people I respect tell me how moving it was to see an iconic woman character who is powerful, who is strong, and who hasn’t been overly sexualized and whose

The only reason the first Wonder Woman was so well received was because it was the only bright spot in a disaster of a franchise, a lonely lifeboat in a vast sea of poop. If it were a Marvel flick, it would have been placed among the Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 tier of movies.

For a substantial segment of the population, the drawbacks of seeing a movie in the theater outweighed the advantages, pre-pandemic. First of all about 10 years ago I stopped going to any theater at all where I couldn’t reserve seats. Then there’s travel, cost, the random chance that someone sitting near me is some

I think everyone complaining about the RC missions never got far enough where the game forces you to take mandatory flight school. Now those were difficult.

Also, the RC helicopter and RC plane mission in VC. Or just basically anything involving aircrafts: flight school in SA (“learn to fly, Carl”), sea plane in VC.

At least they were optional.  There was a racing mission that damn near made the game unbeatable for me.

Its still pretty funny.

Controlled by vampires, of course.
