And now you have a person around to cuddle whenever you want
And now you have a person around to cuddle whenever you want
I am pretty sure I would hate manually removing the hair more than I hate sweeping or vacuuming, and I have a heavy-duty vacuum on my wishlist (hoping someone will give it to us for Christmas/housewarming, as our parents tend to give us reasonably expensive practical gifts; otherwise we’ll save up for it). But it…
I got my Roomba for my golden retriever, who can shed twice his weight in hair over the weekend. Alas, Roomba is currently in the basement awaiting cleaning after its latest rendezvous with my chi-terrier mix’s poop. Second time this has happened. So gross.
My mum got an off-brand roomba (it’s not silent like the roomba) and it’s pretty good with dog hair (although the dog distrusts it). She was so satisfied that she bought another (she bought both of them on a discount site online). I think they’re good for picking up stray fur/hair, but - thankfully* - don’t know about…
This is the first time I heard about Roombas and pooptastrophes, both sad and hilarious:
Yeah, my parents got two Roombas to help keep up with their dogs and the constant stream of fosters they have. Sadly, the time spent cleaning pet hair out of the Roomba did not equal the time saved by having the Roomba. They went back to an easy-to-empty canister vacuum.
Er...............how does it do with normal, if rather long, human hair? I wish I could blame the dog (who is a hair factory by himself, for a short-hair) but I’m the only woman in the house........
Mine—a bobsweep instead of roomba but same difference—has changed my life. We've never had issues here, and it's been almost a year. And there are twice as many pets as people in this house.
Our 15-pound cat killed our Roomba by pouncing on it.
lolz. i needed a laugh today, thank you.
My cat pukes in my slippers, so I wouldn’t have an issue with the rumba.
I’ve got 3 cats, and after about 10 years of roomba/cat cohabitation, here are my findings:
POOPBA! It’s not a bug, it’s a feature!
I’m trying not to be snarky here, but did you think the first lady to make it this far would get there on merit alone? As a veteran of the corporate wars, a woman engineer in a mostly male industry, I’m totally impressed by her steel, her take-no-bullshit, take-no-prisoners approach to everything. MOST of the women in…
Ooooooooh those fuckers.
All food is poop. Time is a flat circle.
I hope those tight-ass overalls are lined because can you imagine running around all day with skin-tight denim chafing your nipples my god
I’ll adopt you and send you to public school AND the Air and Space Museum. Just like my parents with me.
I have strong (and strongly biased) feeling on this subject because I and my siblings were homeschooled through the end of eight grade back in the 80s/early 90s. My parents homeschooled us because they were conservative Christians and didn’t want us corrupted by the evil influences of “the world” (which also meant…
I go back on forth on how we would educate our potential offspring whenever the hubs and I discuss whether this is the year of kids. All your issues with public education I share.
My problems with homeschooling are as follows:
