Similar thing happened to me at 15 - crowd surfing at No Doubt and some douche flipped me over face down, and all but 2 of the buttons on my shirt got torn off. The security at the rail literally had to pry peoples’ hands off of my body to get me out of there. Huh, I’d managed to block out that memory until I read

In order to effectively harness the power of women from all backgrounds, the Women’s Convention must be accessible to women and allies

As a Detroit resident I’m always thrilled when people come to the city, learn more about its present and past, see how dynamic it is, and spend their money here. But $295?!?!?!?!?

What makes you think this country deserves that? Plus we don’t tend to like returning to places where we were threatened with being hung, and our wife and children called every synonym for nigger ever created, and constantly reminded that we were not equal.

At some point President Obama is coming back for us, right?
