It’s a weird move if they kept that tier available for recurring subscriptions. I mean, they’re not stopping users from subbing for 30 days and then immediately cancelling, right? The users can do that and still use the remaining sub time they just paid for.

Thanks for this article, Jason. The calls for a “new engine” are incredibly frustrating to read because it’s so painfully obvious that most people saying that have no idea how a game engine or how software works in general.
