A knife would be worse and easier to sneak on. Even a gun that’s mostly plastic will still need a bullet, until we get magnetic launched flechettes

This was my first thought as well... The printer would be incredibly expensive for it to be easy at this point, and even then it wouldn’t last more than a few shots, and that a person would be better off buying a pipe a nail and a hammer :P

OMG that Patton Oswalt tweet being split there is just the worst....wow...why capitalize the L?

Star Trek, she plays Uhura

If I ever meet Zoe, I want to ask her what it’s like knowing 3 major characters she’s played have high-end porn parodies.

Of course they did, Walt was a Nazi sympathizer

The mariachi everywhere I’ve experienced in Central America deliberately make it awkward. They play and expect a tip, if it’s a small tip they stay for another song. Gotta tip them big to make them move along.

Is that like the fortune cookie game, where you add “in bed”? Maybe the two are interchangeable.

It was the first game I purchased for the NES. $35 for a used copy. Took a while but it was the first game I beat. Got to the point where I could beat it without dying, knew all the shortcuts and tricks to glitch through floors. Only ever used the rocket launcher unless forced to use something else.

a statute of limitations, sadly doesn’t exist on the internet because anything you can bring up in a browser is current and not in the past.

Just Dennis Rodman.

That’s beyond terrible. I can’t believe anyone can be so ignorant at this point in time. Daredevil is nothing like Spider-Man.

Helmet/seatbelt laws are important because the more protection a person has in an accident, the less strain put on a hospitals budget from emergency care that comes from tax dollars, not necessarily from private insurance, as they’re obligated to stabilize anyone who comes in the door regardless of their ability to

Listen, nothing justifies murdering babies, not even doom music.

Here’s what I really don’t understand: how the hell could it have been any easier to cut a big-ass hole in that belly pan instead of just, you know, turning those fasteners a quarter turn each? This seems like more work, so what we’re looking at here is either profound stupidity instead of laziness

I’ve hauled a mattress on a roof twice (not driving because I can’t) and with straps and arms holding it down, it got pretty scary with the wind, even in slow residential streets.

while this may be true, also have to account for the winds. A solid box like that is going to put stress all over the place that will change the downward force, basically making it weigh more, or less depending on various factors.

This is the 3rd story like this I’ve seen today on giz network, people going way out of their way to help people, feels like it’s some sorta event I missed

because it’s stable with good pay?

My favorite FTL-like was Out There.  No combat, just surviving, with a really...weird... atmosphere.  Wondering if this will combine the two perfectly.
